The 2D-face evaluation campaign for IV2 was conducted in September 2007, on the same way as the NIST speaker evaluation: each team conducted a list of tests with no indication on their type (intraclass or interclass). The protocols were constructed in order to have the same number of client and impostors tests. This strategy allows having equivalent FAR(False Acceptance Rate) and FRR(False Rejection Rate) distributions. 3 Submitted Algorithms All submitted algorithms use the appearance-based approaches.

3 Results The results of the submitted systems, for the four experiments, are reported as Detection Error Trade of (DET) curves in Figures 4, and in terms of Equal Error Rates in Table 2 (with confidence level of 95% the EER lies in the confidence interval of (±X) see [14] for more details).
